Learn jQuery For Free

Learning to code seems to be the trendy thing to do in 2012. The likes of Codeacademy, Treehouse and Ruby Reloaded all offer various means by which to improve your technical knowledge from the comfort of your own home. So if ever there was a time to learn about web technologies, that time is now.

That said, these courses don't have to just cater to beginners. Given the open source nature of the web there are a substantial number of people in the industry who are self taught. Although this method of learning is very courageous it can sometimes be quite sporadic and every now and again leave gaps in a persons knowledge. So why not take advantage of some of these free educational resources to fill those gaps and solidify those methods and techniques you're aware of but not quite sure how to use.

Here at PANDR we're getting stuck into the "30 Days to Learn jQuery" course on Tuts+. One lesson in and although it's clear early episodes are aimed towards beginners, no doubt as the course develops we'll be able to address any of our own weaknesses in the framework to provide our clients with an even better service than we aim to at present.
